How can I pay for my college education?

Before it can be determined how much financial aid you will qualify for, you must know how much your family will be able to contribute. To get an idea, check out the Financial Aid Need Estimator by ACT.
Financial aid is classified by how you receive the aid. Some aid comes directly from the federal government, other aid comes from your state or even your individual college campus. For all federal programs, you must complete the FAFSA and contact the financial aid office at your campus to see if you qualify. Complete the FAFSA even if you don't think you will qualify. There may be resources available that you don't know about.
